Hydraulic Blowout Preventer (BOP) Stack

The hydraulic BOP stack is used for sealing the annular space between casing and drilling string, or fully sealing wellhead and controlling well pressure during drilling, workovering and testing operation. The product is designed and manufactured in strict accordance with API Spec 16A and China petroleum industry standard.

According to practice, different sizes of rams, blind rams or shear rams can be used in ram BOP. The ram can be locked manually or hydraulically. The annular BOP has two types of rubber sealing element: spherical and tapered. It can seal different sizes and shapes of pipe string and drill tools, and also close an empty hole. The diverter is used to control the fluid in the low pressure well, divert and release the fluid according the specified pipeline when the surface hole drilling is made. All these parts contacting the fluid inside the BOP stack can resist the stress corrosion of hydrogen sulfide (H₂S).
